Come hang out with the Chicago Zine Fest crew at Dimo’s Pizza in Wicker Park (1615 N Damen Ave) on January 12, 2016 from 6 pm – 10 pm for our annual pizza jam party! We’ll provide you with drawing materials, paper, and prompts, and you will create the artwork for a pizza-themed zine that we will put together! There will also be a live reading from some local zinesters and artists. Dimo’s is also providing $2 PBR drink specials and $1 from every slice of pizza sold will go to benefit CZF 2016! This year Chicago Zine Fest hosts our fifth annual Bingo Night fundraiser Thursday, December 10 at Logan Bar and Grill, 2230 N California Ave. The fun starts at 7 pm.
Zine Fest Bingo is always a great time. Our special guest bingo caller will be notable Chicago based comics artist Neil Brideau who will regale you with smart, humorous banter while calling out the winning numbers. Plus Logan Bar will have $2 PBR specials for the event.
There is an entry donation of $10 which includes your bingo card good for multiple rounds. Each round allows a chance to win! You can purchase multiple cards for $5 each to double your luck.
Win spectacular prizes from local businesses including Quimby’s Bookstore, Handlebar, Second City, Curbside Splendor Publishing, Letter Writers Alliance, Kozie Prery, and work from Chicago artists David Alvarado, Corrine Mucha and more!

Chicago Zine Fest presents HALLOWZINE 2015!
Our fourth annual Halloween-themed fundraiser will feature readings from some amazing local writers and artists, drink specials, and some spooky Chicago zinester masks to take home for your spooky endeavors! The scary lineup includes writers Megan Kirby, Anita Mechler and Paul Durica and comics artists Sean Mac, Andrea Bell, and Mike Centeno. The emcee for the night will be writer Mason Johnson.

Lest you think we’re snoozing over the summer… think again!
Saturday June 27th will be the CZF Ice Cream Social, held at Comfort Station in Logan Square (Facebook event here). Swing by and give us $3-5 (sliding scale) and you’ll get a bowl of ice cream and plenty of toppings (sprinkles, anyone??). We’ll have a variety of flavors and vegan options, too. Join us at Comfort Station at 2579 N Milwaukee Ave from 11:30 am-1:30 pm to get your summer started off right and help us make some cash money for CZF 2016!
We’re also excited be a part of the wonderful Printers Ball in West Town that evening (Saturday June 27th)! We’ll be running a zine jam workshop from 5-6 pm and 7-8 pm—stop by the Spudnik Press Printshop and you’ll walk away with your very own zine!
