The Chicago Zine Fest is an independent event creating an outlet for small press and independent publishers to showcase their work. Our goal is to make DIY zine-making accessible, highlight the talents of self-published artists, and give independent artists a chance to interact, and swap skills through tabling, community events, and workshops.
As such, we are dedicated first and foremost to providing space for those who create zines in particular to showcase their works. With limited tabling space available, we ask you to consider whether you are a good fit for tabling at CZF before registering. CZF loves crafts and artwork, but we ask exhibitors focus their tables towards zines. At least 75% of your table should be zines or directly related to self-publishing.
Please note as well that due to the nature of the Chicago Zine Fest and in an effort to allow as many exhibitors as possible to table, some tables are close together and do not allow for easy entry/exit behind or between the tables. If you have any mobility or other issues and do not prefer to be at one of these tables, please indicate this on your registration form in the accessibility section. The default table size is a half table (36” x 30”). Due to high demand, full tables are not available.
