Welcome to the Chicago Zine Fest's website.

The organizers of the Chicago Zine Fest would like to thank Quimby's Bookstore, Johalla Projects, Columbia College's Fiction Department, Renegade Handmade, Co-Prosperity Sphere, Sara Drake, the Gadabout Film Festival, Jeffrey Brown, Lilli Carre, Greg Means, Anne Elizabeth Moore, John Porcellino, all of our donors, everyone who gave us advice, everyone who came to our open meetings, our exhibitors, readers, art show participants, workshop facilitators, and everyone who came to check out the fest.  Please take a moment to recognize the hard work of our volunteers who helped promote and run the fest, they totally rock.

We would like to extend a special thank you to a few individuals without whom, there probably would be no zine fest.  John Wawrzaszek, Liz Mason and Darcy Dahl worked harder than they should have, and for that we are in their debt.

We hope you had a lot of fun during the zine fest.  We had a lot of fun organizing it, and we learned a lot. We've already started talking about the 2011 fest, and we would love it if you wanted to be a part of that discussion.  We have scheduled a 2010 wrap up/2011 preliminary planning meeting.  Everyone is welcome to the meeting, whether you just want to voice your feelings about the fest, give us advice, or if you would like to be an organizer for 2011.
